Can I receive a prescription on Maven?

Yes! If you are located in the United States, on Maven you have the ability to meet with physicians, nurse practitioners, and midwives who have the ability to prescribe medication if appropriate. 

 If you would like the option of a prescription, please make sure your U.S. is up-to-date under Me > Account Settings. Additionally, please fill out the details of your health history, your pre-session note, and your pharmacy information prior to your appointment.

It is always up to the discretion of the individual provider whether or not a prescription is appropriate based on the medication and the member’s specific health history. Sometimes a provider might recommend that you see a provider in-person before receiving a new prescription or a refill.
