Fertility medications can be a significant part of the cost of treatment. Depending on your Maven benefit, you may have access to savings on eligible fertility medications through MavenRx and financial support for eligible medication expenses through Maven Wallet.
Medication pricing and reimbursement eligibility can vary depending on how a medication is purchased. For certain Ferring fertility medications, Maven can only provide reimbursement or direct coverage when the medication is purchased at the insured rate.
You can view the full list of medications available through MavenRx here: What medications does Maven cover?
Reimbursement for Menopur, Endometrin, and Novarel
Maven does not provide reimbursement or direct coverage for the following Ferring fertility medications when they are purchased at the self-pay (uninsured) rate:
- Menopur
- Endometrin
- Novarel
These medications may be eligible for reimbursement or direct coverage through your Maven Wallet benefit when purchased at the insured rate.
If you’re submitting a reimbursement request for one of these medications, be sure to include:
- Documentation showing that you paid the insured rate
- A complete pharmacy receipt
Before purchasing your medication
If you plan to use your Maven Wallet benefit for Menopur, Endometrin, or Novarel, confirm with the pharmacy that you’re receiving the insured rate before completing your purchase. Medications purchased at the self-pay rate cannot be reimbursed or directly covered by Maven.
For more information about your specific Maven Wallet coverage, review your Program Overview in the Maven app or website. Your Program Overview includes details about the eligible expenses covered by your employer or health plan.
