Education-only appointments are helpful in a few situations. They give you a larger number of practitioners to choose from and are great at getting general answers to your questions. The practitioner won't see your name or any other information about you. These appointments are usually used for questions and information gathering, similar to a class. You will not be able to receive diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription from an education-only appointment.
In non-education-only appointments, you establish more of a relationship with your provider, and they can prescribe medication or offer ongoing treatment (depending on what type of practitioner you see). For these appointments, you need to be using Maven in the U.S. same state where your provider is licensed so please make sure your state is up-to-date when you search!
