A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of urgent decisions—and for many people, questions about future fertility are part of that experience. If you’re navigating cancer care, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
Color Health members who are also eligible for Maven Clinic through their employer or health plan may qualify for additional support. Through this partnership, Maven and Color Health—a leader in virtual cancer care—provide coordinated support for members who need to make time-sensitive fertility decisions during treatment. You’ll have access to the guidance, resources, and specialists needed to make informed choices about your future.
What is oncofertility?
Oncofertility is a type of care that helps you understand how cancer treatment may impact your fertility—and what options you may have to preserve it.
Some cancer treatments, like chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery, can affect your ability to have children. In some cases, these effects can be permanent. Because of this, fertility planning often needs to happen quickly—sometimes within days or weeks of a diagnosis.
Oncofertility care helps you:
- Understand your fertility risks before treatment begins
- Learn about preservation options like egg, sperm, or embryo freezing
- Get expert guidance so you can make timely, informed decisions
