We know that managing your digital presence is deeply personal. If you’re thinking about taking a break or stepping away from Maven, we want to make the process as clear and simple as possible.
Below is a step-by-step guide to help you delete your Maven account—on your terms.
Note: You can delete your account through the Maven app on iPhone or through the Maven website if you’re using an Android device.
Steps to Delete Your Maven Account
1. Go to Your Account Settings
- iPhone (Maven App): Open the Maven app and tap the Me tab. Then select Account Settings from the menu.
- Android (via web): Visit mavenclinic.com in your web browser and log in. Click on the initial tab (your first initial, shown in the upper corner), then choose Account Settings from the dropdown.
2. Choose Deletion Option
Within Account Settings, scroll to find Delete My Data & Deactivate Account. This option fully deletes your account and removes your data from Maven’s systems.
- If you're only stepping away temporarily and may return later, you can choose Deactivate My Account instead. This will pause your access without deleting your data.
3. Confirm Your Request
Select Delete My Data & Deactivate Account and follow the prompts to confirm.
4. Allow Time for Processing
Account deletions can take up to 45 days to complete, depending on your location and local data privacy laws. We appreciate your patience during this time.
What to Expect After Deletion
- Your data will be removed from Maven’s systems, though some information may be retained if required by law.
- Processing times may vary by region.
We're here to support you - even as you decide to step away. If you change your mind, you’re always welcome back.
