We know your child’s health and wellbeing are your top priorities. If you’re wondering whether your child can use Maven, here’s what you need to know.
Ages 13–18
If your child is between the ages of 13 and 18, they can use Maven with parent or legal guardian consent.
To receive care on Maven:
- A parent or legal guardian must agree to Maven’s Terms of Use on the child’s behalf.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present for the entire duration of any services received from a Maven provider.
While your presence is required for all virtual appointments, we recommend that your child create their own Maven account for their visits. This helps keep their appointments, messages, and resources organized in one place.
Under 13 years old
Children under the age of 13 cannot create their own Maven account or receive Maven services directly.
However, Maven can still support you as a parent. Our providers are available to:
- Offer guidance and education
- Answer questions about your child’s health and development
- Share medically-reviewed resources to help you make informed decisions
You can book a virtual appointment to discuss your concerns and get expert-backed support tailored to your family’s needs.
If you have additional questions about your child’s eligibility or how to get started, the Maven Care Team is here to help. Reach out anytime through the app or website for support.
