Maven is committed to supporting you through every step of your family-building journey. That’s why we’re excited to offer Maven Wallet—a simple tool that helps you pay for the care you need.
If your employer offers Maven Wallet, it comes in two versions: Maven Green and Maven Gold. Both give you access to funds from your employer for eligible expenses. The main difference is how payments are handled.
Maven Green
With Maven Green, you have access to employer funds through reimbursement.
- Self-pay and get reimbursed: For services not covered by your insurance—or after you’ve used your insurance benefits—you’ll pay upfront using a personal payment method (or your prepaid Maven Card, if eligible). Then, depending on your employer’s Wallet benefits, you can submit for reimbursement.
Maven Gold
With Maven Gold, you have access to employer funds through direct payment (for fertility) and reimbursement (for all other expenses).
- Direct payments for fertility: For fertility and preservation services at a Maven Partner Clinic, you can use your Maven Benefit ID to have your Wallet pay the clinic directly. These payments will appear in your Wallet.
- Reimbursement for other expenses: For all other eligible services, you’ll pay upfront with your own payment method and may be reimbursed based on your employer’s Wallet benefits.
How to Check if You’re Green or Gold
The easiest way to see which version you have is by checking your Maven Benefit ID:
- Open your Maven app or website.
- Tap Me.
- Select Benefit ID under your name.
Your card will be either green or gold, with the version listed in the lower right corner.
Don’t See Wallet in Your Account?
If your employer offers Maven Wallet, you’ll find My Maven Wallet in the Me section of your app or website.
If it’s missing but you believe you should have access, check Why don’t I see Maven Wallet in my account? or contact the Maven Care Team for support.
