Why checking your balance matters
Many employers offer a lifetime maximum benefit for fertility and family-building support. This total amount does not always reset when transitioning to a new benefit provider. That means even though your benefits are now managed through Maven, your remaining balance may reflect the total amount you’ve already used with your previous benefits vendor or health insurance coverage.
The rules around benefit amounts—such as whether they’re lifetime or annual, and whether they reset or carry over—can vary by employer. That’s why it’s important to review your Maven Wallet Program Overview to understand what applies to you.
How to view your current balance
Once your Maven benefits have officially launched and your Maven account is active:
- Open the Maven app or log in on the web.
- Tap the Me tab (or your initial icon).
- Select My Maven Wallet.
- Your remaining benefit balance will be listed on this page.
This shows how much of your total fertility or family-building benefit you have left to use through Maven.
