Traveling for work while pumping comes with extra logistics—and we’re here to help make them easier. Below are answers to common questions about Maven Milk ordering, shipping timelines, weekend deliveries, and what to do if your plans change, so you can plan with confidence.
How far ahead of time do I need to place my order?
To guarantee delivery, Maven Milk orders must be placed at least 5 business days before you need your kit to arrive. Please keep in mind:
- UPS does not pick up or deliver on Sundays
- UPS has limited Saturday delivery
- For a Monday delivery, place your order by Wednesday of the previous week
How do I know what date to put on my order?
Enter the day your travel starts on the order form. Your kit will arrive on or before that date, depending on UPS delivery timing. This date is different from when you’ll ship milk home.
What if I’m planning to ship milk on a Friday or over the weekend?
UPS has limited weekend shipping, so timing matters.
- UPS does not pick up or deliver packages on Sundays
- Saturday delivery is limited and location-dependent
Planning ahead helps ensure your milk arrives safely and on time.
Friday shipping
If you plan to ship milk on a Friday:
- If you plan to ship milk on a Friday, select “Yes” in the order form when asked about Friday shipping
- Drop your kit off with UPS as early as possible on Friday so it’s picked up the same day and delivered on Saturday
- UPS does not deliver on Sundays
- Your kit will include one Saturday delivery label and instruction card.
Saturday and Sunday shipping
- We do not recommend shipping milk on Saturdays
- Milk shipped overnight on Saturday will not arrive until Monday at the earliest
- UPS does not pick up or deliver on Sundays
Whenever possible, we recommend shipping milk Monday through Friday.
I want to ship multiple Pump + Post kits on a Friday. How do I do this?
When ordering multiple Pump + Post kits, we recommend shipping milk home throughout your trip so it arrives regularly to your baby.
If your last travel day is a Friday:
- Your order will include one Saturday delivery label and one Saturday delivery label instruction card
- If you need more than one Saturday delivery label, contact the Maven Care Team well in advance of your travel
If your Pump + Post kits have already shipped, additional Saturday delivery labels can be sent to you by email.
How do I place a Pump + Post kit order if I’m traveling to multiple destinations?
If your trip includes multiple destinations, place a separate Pump + Post kit order for each location. This ensures you have the right supplies for each leg of your travel.
Can I change my address or preferences after placing my order?
At this time, changes can’t be made to an order once it’s been placed. However, if your order has not yet been processed or fulfilled, it may be possible to cancel it so you can place a new order.

What if I need to order additional kits?
If you need more kits than originally ordered, simply place a new order for the additional quantity.
What if my travel dates change?
If your travel plans change, next steps depend on the timing:

Keep your original order and reach out to the Maven Care Team. They can help with any shipping label adjustments that may be needed. -
Travel date moved earlier or changed by more than 1 week
Place a new order and contact the Maven Care Team for next steps.
What if my work trip is canceled?
- If your order has not yet been fulfilled, the Maven Care Team can help cancel it.
- If your order has already been fulfilled, you can keep the kit supplies for personal use or dispose of them.
Disposal notes:
- Cardboard cartons can be recycled
- The cooling unit and styrofoam insert in the Pump + Post Kit can be discarded in the trash
- Foam ice packs included in the Pump + Check Kit are reusable
My order form is “unclickable.” What should I do?
If you’re unable to submit your Maven Milk order, start by checking the following:
- Make sure all required fields in the order form are completed
- Confirm you’re not placing the order too close to your travel start date
If your order is more than two business days before your travel start date and all fields are complete, contact the Maven Care Team for assistance.
